In Madison, Wisconsin, Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne announced that Officer Matt Kenny used "lawful use of deadly police force" and will not face charges in the March 6, 2015 shooting death of Tony Terrell Robinson Jr.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Justice Department for the state of Wisconsin conducted it's own investigation (separate from the investigation conducted by the Madison Police Department), a requirement of a new Wisconsin law passed in April, 2014.

In Madison, Wisconsin, nineteen-year-old Tony Terrell Robinson Jr. was shot by Madison Police Officer Matt Kenny. Madison Police Chief Mike Koval said that Robinson was unarmed at the time of the shooting.
