Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes was sentenced to 135 months in prison.
The presiding judge, U.S. District Judge Edward Davila said:
This is a fraud case where an exciting venture went forward with great expectations only to be dashed by untruths, misrepresentations, plain hubris and lies.

In San Jose, California, a jury found Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes guilty on 4 of 11 counts - three for investor fraud and one for conspiracy.
According to media reports, Theranos claimed to have blood-analysis technology in the form of a small machine that could run a range of blood tests from just a finger prick of blood. According to prosecutors, Theranos secretly relied on conventional machines manufactured by Siemens to run blood tests.

Elizabeth Holmes no doubt donated to Politicians as well……just not as much. Holmes lost/absconded with a lot of other peoples money. I wonder if the Theranos blood testing would have ever worked? Wonder if we will ever know? We now know how much "good government" Holmes could buy in the court system, about 11 plus years worth.
