Ethan Crumbley was sentenced to multiple life sentences without parole.
During the sentencing hearing Crumbley accepted responsibility for the shootings and showed regret for his actions.
In total, 29 people gave victim statements at the hearing, including parents of the victims, and students and staff at the school. Each victim requested Crumbley be given life without parole.

After failing to appear at an arraignment yesterday, James and Jennifer Crumbley (the parents of Ethan Crumbley) were charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter related to Tuesday's shooting.
Early this morning, Detroit police located the couple in an industrial/commercial building about 40 miles south of the Oxford area where they live and took them into custody.
At an arraignment today, Shannon Smith, an attorney for the parents, said that the gun used in the shooting was locked and that Ethan did not have free access to it.
The parents pleaded not guilty and bond was set at $500,000 for each parent.
Ethan's father, James Crumbley, bought the gun used in the shooting (a SIG SAUER 9mm) four days before the shooting. It was an early Christmas present for Ethan. Ethan's mother, Jennifer, took Ethan to a shooting range the weekend just before the shooting.

A 17-year-old student (one of the eight other people injured during the shooting) died bringing the death toll to four.
The suspect, Ethan Crumbley, was charged (as an adult) with four counts of first-degree murder, one count of terrorism causing death, seven counts of assault with intent to murder, and 12 counts of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Scott Kozak, a defense attorney, entered a plea of not guilty.
Crumbley was denied bail and was transferred from a juvenile facility to the Oakland County Jail.
Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard told the press that earlier on Tuesday before the shooting, Crumbley's parents were called to the school because of "behavior in the classroom that was concerning." Ethan remained in school and the shooting occurred a few hours later.
At a news conference, Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald said that the shooting was planned and that there is "a mountain of digital evidence."

Three students were killed and eight other people were seriously wounded in a shooting at Oxford High School in suburban Detroit, Michigan.
Three of the wounded students were in critical condition late Tuesday night.
A 15-year-old male sophomore, the suspected shooter, was taken into custody.
