In the first round of presidential elections in France, independent Emmanuel Macron and National Front party Marine Le Pen received the most votes and will square off in the final round of voting in two weeks on May 7.
With 99% of the votes counted, Macron has 23.75% and Le Pen has 21.53%.
Macron is pro-EU (European Union), Le Pen is anti-EU.
